In the summer, deufert&plischke worked on their latest performance piece, «Fountains», both in the disused Schwelmebad and in Oravikoski, Finland. Together with dancers and citizens of Schwelm, they explored the often taboo subject of bodily fluids. The aim was not so much to emphasize the taboo as to share personal experiences and memories that understand the body as a cycle of fluids, drinking, dripping and leaking. At spinnerei schwelm, we present this work in the form of an exhibition and a concert, and provide an outlook on the next steps of the project.
